St Patrick’s Bridge, Cork

Cleaning and restoration work was carried out on the triple-arch ashlar limestone road bridge in Cork. The purpose of the operation was to remove layers of dirt, smog and graffiti from the balustrade, famous keystones and the arches.
St Patrick’s Bridge was built in 1861 and is a significant contributor to the architectural heritage of the city.
